Coding Greeting Cards in JavaScript

Sheep are coolIn Computer Science this term, students were introduced to coding in JavaScript through the Code.org Discovery program. Students watched online tutorials and followed step-by-step instructions to create and move shapes and characters on an x and y coordinate grid. Additionally, students learned to code width and length measurements, variables, loops, and rgb color codes, using both block coding and text-based JavaScript programming.  Check out some of their creations in the below links.  Also note that all 8th graders have the challenge of coding their own animated greeting card to share with friends and family for the Winter Holidays!
